Back to the LEGO set, and Argos shoppers - many of whom listed their ages as being in their 30s and 40s - have left high praise for the item online, with one review reading: 'Brilliant set. Big fan of the films and this set captures the Delorean really well.
'They have so many really good details like the flux capacitor, lightning rod, mr fusion thingy, the thing which displays the dates and the outta time licence plate. One problem - we should have an Einstein piece.
' Meanwhile, another raved: 'Such great value for money item that was fun to build and keep my husband quiet for hours. It has been a great addition to our collection and the mini figures are so cute.
' A third felt the item was good value for money, writing: 'I was marginally disappointed with the look of the 'big' Lego Delorean, but the Speed Champions model really does exceed expectations. Some lovely detailing (the wound on Doc Brown's head! ), and minimal stickers makes this a must build. I'd also suggest that this is possibly the best value kit Lego currently make!
' One Lego fan had a minor gripe, saying: 'Great Lego set the only problem is the cable that goes round the sides is virtually impossible to fit on. ' Despite this someone else commented: 'A very cool collectable to add to the collection of other DeLoreans - two good mini figures, like Marty’s jacket as an addition, and a decent price for a Lego set.
