The 75-year-old is representing Remember A Charity Week, which encourages people to leave something for a worthy cause in their will.
However research from Remember A Charity has revealed that legacy giving is now worth over £3 billion to the charity sector and is going towards very important causes.Len left money in his will to a hospice that took good care of his mother. He explained: ‘Although I’ve made a will, I hadn’t remembered a charity. I sat down with my wife and my son and we had a chat about it and made sure obviously, that they were in my will and so on.‘And I said – my mum was in a hospice, I would like to give some money to them and other local charities and things. And they agreed.
