In Camarines Sur, five people, including three minors, died while another one was missing when their swimming vacation turned into a tragedy at a beach resort in Barangay Catagban in Goa town on Saturday, April 8.
Their 16-year old girl companion is still missing while a 12-year old girl survived, according to the local police. In San Juan town, a certain Khailyn died when she drowned during a summer retreat at the Calubcub Bay Resort and Recreation in Barangay Calubcub at around 1:45 p.m. on Friday, April 7.
