While Olmsted Falls is now accepting bids for city-owned land located on Bronson Avenue and Columbia Road, Mayor James Graven said potential buyers shouldn’t get their hopes up.
OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio -- “So we’re just going sell them, but they’re very small parcels. Whoever buys them isn’t going to build a house on them.”Currently zoned D-3 , the parcel is vacant with a minimum acceptable bid of $19,000.
Olmsted Falls Service Director Joe Borczuch said the three properties came to the city via the Cuyahoga Land Bank. “At which point, we can either do something with them or sell them so then they go back on the tax duplicate and everybody gets to take their portion of the revenue that’s part of the taxes.”
In terms of selling city land, the service director said Olmsted Falls recently sold two lots on Tyndall Falls.
