Lewis Capaldi has made a triumphant return to the stage at this years Glastonbury! He released a heartfelt and honest statement a few weeks back, revealing how he needed time off after struggling with his physical and mental health.
He arrived to roaring cheers from thousands of revellers, bursting into his number one hit, Forget Me.
Wearing a plain white tee, the Scottsman also joked about it being too warm for a jacket, before fans erupted into chants of ‘take it off’ in a very cheeky moment. ‘It’s been such an incredible time leading into this new album, and seeing all of the support from everyone has been beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of.
He went on to apologise: ‘I know many of you will have spent money on travel or hotels, which I appreciate more than ever with how difficult things are economically at the moment, so I’m extremely sorry for the impact this will have.
