Danielle, 30, has blasted trolls over negative comments about her parents
Lewis Capaldi's older sister Danielle has hit out at critics who branded her parents "harsh" and "cruel" following the Scots singer's Netflix documentary. How I'm Feeling Now hit the streaming service on April 5, and was met with widespread praise from critics and fans.
While some fans were quick to label Lewis' parents harsh after watching the film, big sister Danielle, 30, insists that her mum and dad are "ordinary" parents from Scotland who want nothing but happiness for their talented son. Teacher Danielle added: "Lewis’ documentary has had a lot of positive responses but unfortunately there will always be people who have to look for problems where there aren't any. If you don't get Scottish patter or parents who were worried about their son, don't comment."
"I actually love the fact Lewis comes from a normal down to earth typical Scottish family that’s the first thing I said when I saw your parents! X," another added. A third said: "Love this! Your parents came across as loving and supportive. Obviously a strong family who are there for each other."
