TACLOBAN CITY – Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) units from six provinces and two cities in Eastern Visayas showcased their skills in handling protests and other civil disturbances during the Police Regional Office-8 CDM Competition on Tuesday, September 19.
TACLOBAN CITY – Civil Disturbance Management units from six provinces and two cities in Eastern Visayas showcased their skills in handling protests and other civil disturbances during the Police Regional Office-8 CDM Competition on Tuesday, September 19.The Tacloban City Police Office was the first runner-up and Ormoc City Police Office was the second runner-up.
The TCPO topped the inspection phase, Biliran PPO the demonstration phase, and LPPO the problem-solving phase. The competition was part of the Police Regional Office-8's preparations for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections next month.Civil disturbance management handles incidents such as violent protests, hostage incidents, or riots.
