Liam and Noel Gallagher have both hinted at a major Oasis announcement after posting a short clip with the band's branding to X, formerly Twitter. In the video it shows the date - 27/08/24 - and the time 8am.
Seconds after Blossoms headline set at Wythenshawe Park drew to a close with their hit Charlemagne, a ten-second clip seemingly teasing the much-speculated Oasis reunion was played on the screen.Stockport lads Blossoms wowed a 30,000-strong crowd at Wythenshawe Park tonight, with support from The Guestlist, Terraces, Seb Lowe, The K’s, Shed Seven and Inhaler.
It follows weeks of speculation after rumours began circulating on platforms including Reddit and on X, formerly Twitter. Liam Gallagher has also stoked the fire further in recent days, responding to fans who asked the frontman if a reunion and series of gigs next summer were on the cards.
