The new Easter Road gaffer is looking across the city to add to his backroom team.

Gray is looking to put his backroom team together and wants to bring in the Jambos B team boss as his No. 2. Fox has a wealth of experience having been in charge of Dundee United and also been first-team coach at Aberdeen. Gray rates Fox highly and has made a move to try to persuade him to join him at Easter Road.

Fox has also had spells as a first-team coach at Livingston and was No. 2 at Tannadice as well before he stepped up to take the top job there. Hearts are aware of the interest and are keen to keep the 40-year-old at Tynecastle. Fox led the young Jambos to second place in the Lowland League and boss Stevie Naismith also brought him into the first-team coaching side at the end of the season.
