According to the report, additional toxicological and anatomical-pathological examinations are being performed on Liam's blood and urine samples to check for possible drug use. Furthermore, there may be a request for the late singer's medical records to analyse his mental health background, reports the Mirror.
The City Police of Buenos Aires' Mobile Criminalistics Unit gathered crucial forensic evidence in the room at Casa Sur hotel where the incident occurred. At the crime scene, investigators discovered items including a bottle of whiskey, a lighter, and a cell phone believed to be Liam's, which is likely to be analysed for any messages. Each item bore detectable fingerprints.
Buenos Aires emergency services chief Alberto Crescenti told The Sun: "Our role was to head there quickly, give medical attention, and try to resuscitate him, but his injuries were incompatible with life. Based on what the team saw, there was apparently a cranial fracture and extremely serious injuries that led to his immediate death."
