The funeral may happen in the next few days
According to reports, the funeral of the singer could happen as early as this week after the Wolverhampton star fell to his death in Argentina three weeks ago. Payne fell from the third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo hotel on October 16.
The location of the funeral has not been made public but fans have gathered outside St Peter's Church in Wolverhampton to leave flowers, cards and notes. The dad-of-one's body could be flown back to Britain this week, with a funeral held soon after and La Nacion says this could be as early as Wednesday.
A number of celebrities are set to attend the funeral, as well as the singer's family. It is understood some may sing at his service. A source told RadarOnline.com: "Liam's funeral is going to be packed with A-listers as he was so well-loved in the showbiz community, and so many of them are so sad about his tragic death.
