Liam Payne's first posthumous song will be released later this week, his friend and producer Sam Pounds has announced, with the late singer featuring on the cover art.
Liam, 31, tragically passed away in Argentina on October 16 after a horrific fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. As an investigation into the events leading up to his heartbreaking death unfolds, the singer's body remains in Argentina.
Now, nearly two weeks since the world said goodbye to Liam, new music from him appears to be on the horizon for his fans, according to reports in the Mirror. "I pray that this song will be a blessing to Ruth, Bear, and the entire family. I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you... With love let's all BE the blessing."
Sam honoured Liam following his passing and recently shared a video of them both in the studio working on the forthcoming single. According to Sam, Liam had expressed a desire for singer Chris Brown to feature on the track. In 2008, a young Liam Payne took to The X Factor stage at the tender age of 14, charming the audience with Frank Sinatra's timeless 'Fly Me To The Moon'. Simon Cowell, impressed yet prescient, advised him to return in two years.
