Liam Payne ’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy returned to her home in Florida from South America, just days before the former One Direction star’s tragic death, it has been reported. On Wednesday, 16 October it was revealed that Liam had sadly died at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, with people from across the world paying tribute to the singer.
Over recent weeks the pair documented their getaway on social media. Prior to heading on the trip, the Steal My Girl singer revealed that he was heading to Argentina, where Niall Horan was touring at the time, and admitted that he had “got a lot to talk about” with his former bandmate. As she picked up her boarding pass, she added: “Of course my seat was 1D, I feel like this happens every single time I fly. I also get such anxiety before flying so I like broke out in this weird rash.”
