Liam Payne's posthumous single has been postponed after the singer's collaborator and producer Sam Pounds said it's 'not the time' to release the track, after the singer's death
The release of new music from Liam Payne has been postponed because “it’s not the time yet”, his collaborator Sam Pounds has confirmed. A video of the former One Direction star singing the track, titled Do No More, was shared online by Sam, who had been working on the song with Liam before his sudden death earlier this month.
He wrote: "Today I’m deciding to hold "Do No Wrong" and leave those liberties up to all family members. I want all proceeds go to a charity of their choosing . Even though we all love the song it’s not the time yet. We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to morn in peace and in prayer. We will all wait. With love Sam Pounds."
Another fan tweeted: "thank you Sam… yes, we're still crying but we're always here ready for Liam's music when the time is right; Thank you for respecting the family’s decision. Sam had given fans a sneak peek of their collaboration on his Instagram, sharing a clip of him and Liam listening to the tune together.
