The Liverpool Catholic Club sits inside the electorate of Holsworthy, which the Coalition holds on a margin of 6.2 per cent but is fighting to retain after sitting MP Melanie Gibbons lost preselection to former deputy mayor Tina Ayyad. “He’s a big ideas man. He makes tough decisions. He has humility and he faces up to mistakes he’s made,” Mrs Perrottet said.
“Chris Minns is a man beholden to the unions and bends over backwards for the gaming lobby and the leader of a party who its own members admit has not cleaned up its act,” Mr Kean said.“Chris Minns is a risk to the budget, a risk to our economy and a risk to NSW and that’s why our state needs a re-elected Perrottet government to keep the state moving.”
Behind the premier, Senator Marise Payne sat alongside Penrith MP and former minister Stuart Ayres, in what was a slim showing of federal MPs.
