Several prominent Liberals have been spotted in their local electorates this Anzac Day, having chosen to spend the day among their constituents.

“A day where we honour the 103,000 Australians who gave their lives in war and operational service,” the former police officer said.

Several prominent Liberals were also spotted out and about in their electorates on Tuesday morning, with Sussan Ley attending the dawn service in Albury before jetting off to the Anzac ceremony at the Jerilderie Cenotaph. Mr Thompson, himself a veteran of wars in the Middle East and Afghanistan, said he uses Anzac Day to reflect on his service.
