There were 11 Liberal MPs who voted against the motion to expel Moira Deeming, but leader John Pesutto claims all his MPs are committed to working together and reforming the Victorian Liberal Party.
Ms Deeming was expelled from the Parliamentary Liberal Party following a two-hour meeting on Friday, with 19 out of 30 MPs voting in favour of the motion.
The Liberal party has been in turmoil since mid-march when Mr Pesutto first tried to have Ms Deeming kicked out over her attendance at a Let Women Speak rally that was crashed by a group of neo-Nazis. "We want to be an inclusive party. I'm confident that everybody has come away from [today's meeting] with a renewed sense of how important that objective is.
"My colleagues and I know we've got to work really hard… and anybody who becomes complacent is at risk of falling short of that," he said.
