Romayor residents in Liberty County said they're facing incredibly challenging drives around the closed portion of FM 787 over the Trinity River. Despite some skepticism, TxDOT is now proposing a solution.
ByTxDOT said the FM 787 bridge over the Trinity River may need to move. Meanwhile, the bridge is still closed, forcing residents to make longer drives.The Trinity River Bridge along FM 787 in Romayor has been closed since early May.
According to its website, the Texas Department of Transportation expects the bridge to remain closed until January 2025.
