Former Greens Senator Lidia Thorpe is set to benefit hugely from her crossbench move.

“She will earn more than a million dollars before her senate term is over while pretending to be the warrior for those whose dream of a lifetime income wouldn’t even be a million dollars,” Mr Murray said. Senator Thorpe sensationally quit her party on Monday over a worsening rift within the party about the Indigenous Voice to Parliament.
