Lidl Northern Ireland is recalling several cheese products due to the presence of Listeria. The recalled items include Deluxe Sriracha Cheddar Cheese Wedge, Deluxe Walnut Cheddar Cheese Wedge, and Deluxe Oak Smoked Cheddar Cheese Wedge, all with a best before date of May 11, 2025. Customers are advised to return the products for a full refund.
Lidl in Northern Ireland is having to recall a number of its cheese products after Listeria was found in them.
Any customers who have bought the products are being asked to return them to Lidl for a full refund, with or without a receipt.The Food Standards Agency said: "Symptoms caused by this organism can be similar to flu and include high temperature, muscle ache or pain, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea. However, in rare cases, the infection can be more severe, causing serious complications, such as meningitis.
