The situation makes it difficult for families to go out to the park but also is giving dog owners in the area a bad reputation
Residents in a Nottinghamshire street say they are fed up with constantly being left on their street. Households on Chestnut Avenue, Newark, say they are getting fed up with dog owners not cleaning up after their pets and one resident claimed he'd had bags of it thrown into his garden.
"I had a dog until I lost her last year but I would always pick up after her. Some people pick it up and bag it but then throw it over into my garden." "We have a really good councillor helping. Everyone uses this area to take their dogs to the field and I would say that nine out of ten people clean up after themselves."
"I have a dog but I clean up after him. I think it's just one individual that's just not bothered about cleaning it up."
