Local emergency services have urged people to stay away from the area
A light aircraft has crashed at an industrial estate in Derbyshire, local emergency services have said.
The Fire Service says it received a call at 9.05am today, before mobilising fire crews from Chesterfield, Clay Cross and Staveley Fire Stations to the site of the crash. Derbyshire police and East Midlands Ambulance Service are also at the scene.The aircraft was a privately owned Evektor SportStar built in 2022, a popular type of light aircraft used for recreational flying and training, according to the flight tracking website Flightradar24.
