Say “bonjour” to Darren Star’s latest creation. The “SATC” and “Younger” creator returns to the small screen with Netflix’s “Emily in Paris,” starring Lily Collins.
Lily Collins is decidedly not embracing method dressing for her Emily in Paris press tour. In the show, which is debuting its fourth season tomorrow, August 15, the actor plays Emily Cooper, a gutsy and dow-eyed marketing executive from Chicago who moves to Paris for work and begins to dress a bit like a couture candy factory. We love it for Cooper, but when Collins is off the set, her style leans much more minimalist—or more truly Parisian, if you will.
Up top, she wore a stretchy sand-colored bodysuit with a criss-cross back detail, which she tucked into a chocolate brown pencil skirt. The actor cinched the skirt at the waist with a black leather belt with a square golden YSL-branded buckle, and under the piece wore some sheer black tights to further elevate the look. Collins wrapped up the head-to-toe Saint Laurent fit with glossy black slingbacks. She accessorized with small gold hoop earrings and a coordinating ring.
