Yesterday, Chanel designer Virginie Viard debuted her resort 2025 collection for the French fashion house by bringing guests to the chic port city of Marseille. There to take in Chanel’s latest assortment of seaside tweeds and nautical accents? Stars like Sadie Sink, Marion Cotillard, and Lily-Rose Depp—and, as it turns out, it was Depp’s first time in Marseille.
Oh, and the shoes! I love a platform sandal. I can’t wait to wear everything.” The star’s own front-row look for the occasion was certainly fitting for a Chanel muse. Depp sported a black cropped knit sweater with a floral tweed-style skirt and slingback heels. “I felt like my show outfit felt very me,” she says. “I love tiny tops and skirts, so I definitely leaned into that! I wanted to feel cute but a little casual—something that reflected the coolness of the city around us.
