An MP is campaigning to save a Shropshire Post Office after closure plans have been revealed.

Picture: Helen Morgan "The Post Office says that it plans to shut the Cockshutt Outreach Hub due to the merger of the Bryn Hafod and Kingsmill Road branches in Wrexham, from where the service here is run.
"My view is that the limited amenities that are available in rural areas like Cockshutt must be protected, not cut. I have requested that the Post Office continue to offer outreach services, whoever they may be provided by.public consultation on the matter is still open, which I discussed with local campaigner Sarah Marston recently.
