Love overcomes hate in Lincoln's counter-protest against transphobia. ❤️🌈
In a powerful display of unity and acceptance, Lincoln's LGBTQ+ community gathered in large numbers to counter-protest against a group of anti-trans activists. The counter-protest was organised in response to the activists' planned demonstration against Primark's support for Pride Month.

A man, believed to be associated with the anti-trans protest, allegedly attempted to scuffle with a security guard from a local LGBT venue. The man was restrained and given first aid after scraping his hand during the altercation. The police interviewed witnesses and reviewed bodycam footage before issuing a section 35 dispersal order, instructing the man to leave the area.
