Her death was announced in a statement released by her agent, revealing that she had been admitted to Blackpool Victoria Hospital with double pneumonia over the weekend. Linda had been battling breast cancer for 20 years.

She peacefully passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning, surrounded by her loving family.
