Kevin Sinfield appeared on ITV This Morning on Wednesday along with Rob Burrow and his wife Lindsey via video link from their home in Leeds. He spoke of the pair's heart-warming finish at the Rob Burrow marathon in the city on Sunday, May 14, which saw Kevin carry his best friend across the finish line and reduce people to tears.

He terrorised the big men, a lot of big men targeted Rob but he got his own back and more - in big games he delivered, he came up with big moments for us. It was an incredible team we both played in.
Presenter Alison Hammond added that Lindsey ran the marathon with a knee injury. Lindsey said: "It was just about getting past that finish line and a bit of knee pain wasn't going to stop me, look at what Rob and some of the members of the MND community go through so that was nothing really.
