Line Of Duty set to beat The Bodyguard in ratings as 7.8 million people tune into series five premiere
LINE OF DUTY pulled in a massive 7.8 million viewers last night and is on track to become the biggest show of the year – even beating BBC’s last hit drama, Bodyguard.
BBC figures show that an average of 7.8 million people – a 38% audience share – tuned in to watch the series premiere, with a peak of 8 million viewers during the episode.
