While summer is still a ways away, the City of Rochester is beginning preparations to bring its 29th annual Summer Soul Music Festival to life in August.
The City of Rochester held a press conference Friday, April 5, 2024, announcing the lineup for its 29th annual Summer Soul Music Festival, set to take place Aug. 24.
Rochester, N.Y. — While summer is still a ways away, the City of Rochester is beginning preparations to bring its 29th annualFestival organizers say it's a party you won't want to miss. It's going to be a super special time," said Amir Baiyana, president of Xperience Live, the event's promoter. "We want to celebrate Dru Hill, based out of Baltimore. Baltimore and Rochester are both very musical cities, so I know they already understand the soul of the city in a very special way," "Sisqo, we're looking forward to having him do a special set with some of his solo songs.
The festival is set to hit the stage at Innovative Field Saturday, Aug, 24. Gates will open at 2 p.m.for more information or to buy tickets, which start at just $25. Tickets can also be purchased at the Innovative Field box office.
