Lisa George plays Beth Tinker on the soap Coronation Street star Lisa George has confirmed her brand new role away from the cobbles, and it’s a whole new world away from Beth Tinker. Beth burst onto the cobbles back in 2011 and has been part of some huge storylines ever since, with her relationship with Kirk Sutherland really touching fans’ hearts. However, reports emerged late last year that Lisa, 51, was set to leave the long-running series after starring in the soap for 13 years.
