Lisa Snowdon's life moments as she celebrates turning 50
Having built a successful career in entertainment over the years, Lisa has become a household name, scoring professionally and in love, being currently engaged to partner of over five years, George Smart, following a string of unlucky relationships.
Here's just some highlights as OK! looks back on what has been an eventful life so far for birthday girl Lisa... Breaking Into TV presenting By the time Lisa secured her first gig presenting for MTV UK, she was a pro in front of the camera. Hosting music show MTV Select, Lisa interviewed many popular artists of the moment leading her to present other shows for the channel and did voice overs for VH1.
Pictured as ever the glamorous couple on practically every red carpet together, it was wondered whether or not Lisa would walk down the aisle with infamous bachelor George — though it was not meant to be. Lisa insists she remains friendly with the actor years later. Strictly Come Dancing success When Lisa first participated in the 2008 series of Strictly Come Dancing, judges were left unimpressed with her dancing skills and viewers doubted she would go very far. Partnered with professional dancer Brendon Cole, the presenter received a low score for her first performance of the salsa, leaving her outlook on the show looking unpromising.
Lisa luckily was able to recover after from the infection after a few weeks away from work and was eventually able to go back to her duties. Since her diagnosis, the presenter has gone on to raise money and become ambassador for the Meningitis Trust.
