Lisandro Martinez got himself on the scoresheet to help Man United draw 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Defender Lisandro Martinez has said the level of fighting spirit Manchester United's players produced in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool "must be our fuel" to take the club forward.
Despite seeing Martinez's opener wiped out by goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah, United hit back with ten minutes left, striking through Amad, who converted Alejandro Garnacho's low cross to spark pandemonium in the away end. United's players now know they have set themselves a standard that they must consistently reach. And Martinez has insisted the spirit and togetherness he and his teammates produced at Anfield must be used as a catalyst to turn their fortunes around.
Instagram Speaking in his post-match press conference, head coach Amorim spoke of the need to "shock" his players, insisting everyone at United has got into the habit of being "too comfortable".
