More than 130 MPs have now announced they are standing down from the House of Commons ahead of the General Election
It includes 77 Conservative MPs, which is the highest number in modern political history, surpassing the previous post-war record of 72 Tories who stood down ahead of the 1997 election.The list has been compiled by the PA news agency and is correct as of 9.30am on May 29.
