Thousands of pupils across Nottinghamshire will be finding out their A-level exam results today after two years of hard work. Anticipation, nervousness and even excitement will be building across schools in Nottingham and the wider county with many students hoping their results will let them get into their first-choice university course or apprenticeship.
Last year, 27.2 per cent of UK A-level entries achieved an A or above, down on 2022, when the figure was 36.4 per cent. However, this was still higher than in 2019 – the last year that summer exams were taken before the pandemic – when 25.4 per cent of entries were awarded A or A* grades.Schools and colleges across the county will be allowing students to pick up their results at various times today, usually starting from 8am. UCAS Hub will also update at this time.
