Heavy snow overnight and freezing conditions have led to some treacherous conditions
Nottinghamshire has woken up to the first snowfall of the season. on the roads.
As of 7.15am on Tuesday, November 19, there were nine confirmed school closure in Nottinghamshire. The Met Office said up to 10cm of snow was possible overnight in the county, even on lower ground. Gritters from Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council have been out throughout the night, but it is likely some road closures will be put in place as a result of the adverse weather conditions.
