‘I’m not wearing a princess costume right now, I’m afraid Mila’
A week before lockdown came into force last March, Mila's family decided to isolate in different households as a result of the five-year-old being just four months into her chemotherapy treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Her father, Scott, and big sister, Jodi, would visit every day and stand at the window for Mila.
