An investigation has been launched
Cops were called following the incident at Milton Street, in Glasgow city centre, shortly before noon today.A post on social media claims the fireworks came from a nearby student accommodation building.
Someone wrote to community page no1seems2care and said:"Be careful if passing the student accommodation opposite the fire station on Milton Street. "Lit fireworks are being thrown out the windows. I was only feet away when they came flying out the window. Police have been informed." One person commented:"My dog nearly had a heart attack! Milton St always has people walking about and it could have landed on someone and severely injured them."It's not daft wee neds this time. These are students who are supposed to be"educated!" Must say though, the police responded quickly!"spokesperson said:"Officers received a report of fireworks being thrown from a building on Milton Street, Glasgow, around 11.50am on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
