'We urge owners to please get their cats neutered as there are just too many unwanted cats and kittens and rescues'
A litter of 10-day-old kittens were found dumped in bin near a Lancashire school while other cats were thrown over a wall.
Bosses say many of the cats coming into the sanctuary would have been prevented if they were vaccinated and had basic flea and worming treatment. They are now urging owners to 'get their cats neutered' due to the number of 'unwanted cats and kittens' with rescue centres 'struggling to help all that need them'.In a statement, they said: "Bleakholt, just like every local cat rescue, are struggling to cope with the vast numbers of cats needing their help.
"We urge owners to please get their cats neutered as there are just too many unwanted cats and kittens and rescues are really struggling to help all that need them."
