Nationals leader David Littleproud has called on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to show leadership and expel WA Senator Fatima Payman from the Labor Party over her use of a controversial pro- Palestine slogan.
The WA senator’s comments were widely denounced, with Labor joining the Coalition to support a senate motion condemning the slogan as a “very violent statement”. “He should expel her… If he had the courage of his conviction, he would walk in there and he would expel her from the Labor Party. That's what leadership's about,” Mr Littlerpoud said.
