Spider-Verse fan art sees Spider-Man variants across live-action and animation crossing universes to team up together to protect the multiverse.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The live-action Peter Parkers and the animated Miles Morales become the league of Spider-Man in new Spider-Verse fan art. The web-crawler continues to be one of the most beloved superheroes, especially on the big screen, with both live-action and animated projects bringing Spider-Man's popularity to an all-new high.
With Spider-Man's mythology having decades worth of stories, time will tell what arcs the world will get to see in the future, whether it is with the animated franchise or the live-action Spider-Man actors. One scenario that recently got imagined was by graphic designer Mateus, who brought the live-action and animated Spider-Verse together in new Marvel fan art, showing what another team-up could look like in the future.
Outside of Maguire and Garfield's veteran versions, the Spider-Verse artwork features Holland's Spider-Man now donning the iconic black Symbiote suit. In addition to the animated Miles Morales, Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin is imagined as his live-action counterpart. What's Next For Spider-Man In Live Action And Animation? Close While the MCU has finished Peter's initial trilogy, Holland's run appears far from over.
On television, Amazon Prime and MGM+ are developing live-action Spider-Verse shows, starting with Silk: Spider Society, which will bring Cindy Moon to life after initially being developed as a feature film. Sony is also working on a Spider-Man Noir TV show, although it won't be Peter Parker donning the suit. It's unclear at this point if they are going to be part of Sony's Spider-Man Universe, which consists of the Venom movies, Morbius, Kraven the Hunter, and Madame Web.
The future is definitely bigger than ever for Spider-Man across live-action and animation, especially as the superhero genre has been facing its ups and downs over the last few years. Hopefully, it won't be long until Sony Pictures begin sharing new updates on the various projects that they have in the works. But for now, the world can continue to relive all the Spider-Verse movies, as well as the Spider-Man films from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, on Blu-Ray/DVD and through streaming.
