On the cusp of Alex de Minaur's titanic battle against Novak Djokovic, Todd Woodbridge has cast his memory back to Mark Philippoussis' stunning defeat of Pete Sampras at the 1996 Australian Open.Philippoussis take down Sampras, who had the No.1 ranking in the world and had won seven of his 14 singles grand slam titles.
"The thing about Alex tonight is he's got a lot more experience than what Mark Philippoussis had at this particular time.
