Australia's economy expanded by 0.4 per cent over from April to June and by 2.1 per cent over the year on a seasonally adjusted basis.The Bureau of Statistics says capital investment and tourism drove the economy as the number of international students and tourists returned to Australia.
The Federal Court has fined the collapsed ACBF Funeral Plans $1.2 million for misrepresenting the sale and promotion of funeral expense insurance to Indigenous people. The case was brought by the corporate regulator ASIC after Youpla was a case study at the banking royal commission.
