Park Road, near Alexandra Retail Park, has been closed this afternoon
Park Road has reportedly been closed as a result of an incident this afternoon . Pictures from the scene show multiple fire engines, police cars and ambulances at the scene, near to Alexandra Retail Park.
Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for information.The following video shows the emergency service presence at the scene this afternoon.Our reporter Chris Slater has arrived at the scene in Park Road. He says a police cordon is currently in place outside the retail park.
It means people currently parked inside the retail park are unable to leave at the moment. The retail park has a Matalan store, Home Bargains and Pure Gym.
