Aircraft have been seen circling over Leeds Bradford Airport after a report that Leeds United's team plane 'filled with smoke' on the runway.
Flight tracking app FlightRadar has shown at least two aircraft flying in circles over the airport tonight at about 8pm. It comes after an unconfirmed report from a private pilot who said that the disruption started when Leeds United's team plane had to be evacuated on the runway.The tweet from Stephen Reynolds said: "Small incident this evening with the plane carrying the Leeds team home from London."The aircraft landed at LBA and subsequently stopped on the runway with reports of smoke in the cockpit, other planes have been told to circle and the aircraft has been evacuated.
