There's major disruption on trains in Manchester and Salford due to an emergency services incident on the railway line near Salford Central station. A statement on the National Rail website says: "The emergency services dealing with an incident between Manchester Victoria and Salford Crescent. Whilst they do their work, all lines are closed. One train passengers reports eeing several emergency services vehicles at Salford Central, with trains stationary at the platform.Seems to be some kind of major incident at Salford Central. Three police cars, three ambulances, fire engine. Train not moving on the platform. Hope everyone is OK.Northern have issued this advice for passengers affected by the line closure.
