'Please avoid the area'
The anticlockwise exit slip at junction 14 for the East Lancashire Road is currently fully shut. It is likely to remain shut for 'some time', motorway police said.Drivers have been urged to avoid the area. A tweet posted by the North West Motorway Police said: "We are in the process of closing the exit slip on M60 anticlockwise at j14 to the A580 due to a Police incident."
A further tweet added: "The exit slip at j14 M60 acw to A580 will be closed for some time, thankfully minor injuries, please avoid the area."The exit slip at junction 14 that is currently shut is onto the A580 East Lancashire Road.
