Part of MediaCity is taped off by officers this morning
Officers have taped off an area in MediaCity, close to the Alchemist next to the water. Police said they were called to the scene at around 5.50am this morning to 'reports of a group of males fighting'.
In a statement, the GMP spokesperson said: "At around 5.05am this morning , we were called to reports of a group of males fighting at the Quays in Salford. Officers attended the scene and located a man in his 20s with a small stab wound to his leg, he has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not described as life-changing or life-threatening.GMP statement: Man taken to hospital after stabbing"At around 5.
