When bosses at National Highways decided, in their wisdom, to close the southbound carriageway between junctions 33 and 32 to allow bridge repairs, resurfacing and waterproofing work to be carried out, those motorists who made the fateful decision to drive on the motorway will no doubt continue to have nightmares about the chaos which ensued.
Therefore it could be a good idea to keep a close eye on your speedometer when you are driving along these streets. Vehicles will be using 'highly accurate laser technology' to help keep our streets safe and reduce the amount of accidents.
