Not everyone who makes the queue will get to see Queen’s lying in state, advice which has been issued says
More than one million people expected to pay respects to Queen in London
London Underground stations near Buckingham Palace have seen a surge in passenger numbers since the Queen died on Thursday. TfL figures show more than 19,000 people started or finished journeys at Hyde Park Corner station on Tuesday, which was double the total on the same day last week.“The most recent approximation or estimate is that there will be around potentially up to 750,000 people in the queue for lying in state, which is itself a huge number.
The procession starts at 2.22pm. The Imperial State Crown and a wreath of flowers will be placed on top of the Queen’s coffin and the King will follow the coffin on foot, joined by his sons the Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex, as well as the Duke of York, the Princess Royal and the Earl of Wessex.
